Justice: Johnny Depp Seeks Help From Vanessa Paradis

Johnny Depp can always count on Vanessa Paradis. At war with the newspaper “The Sun”, after an article calling him a “wife beater”, the actor in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” saga sued the newspaper for defamation.

To defend himself in a trial that was supposed to take place in mid-March but was postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Depp asked his ex-wife and the mother of his two children, Vanessa Paradis, for help.

The singer filed written testimony with these words: “I’ve been with Johnny for over 25 years. We lived as a couple for 14 years and raised our two children together. During all those years, I’ve known only a gentle, caring, generous, and non-violent Johnny both as an individual and as a parent (…) He was never violent or abusive to me. “Strong words to prove that the actor could not have changed at all in just a few months.

Johnny Depp would indeed have started his relationship with Amber Heard only a few months after her break-up with Vanessa Paradis and would have been violent from the beginning according to the actress.

Winona Ryder, another of Johnny Depp’s ex-girlfriends, also testified in his favor. She indicated that she did not understand the accusations made by Amber Heard and that he had never been violent with her.

The trial is scheduled to begin on July 7 and will last 3 weeks. Vanessa Paradis may well have to testify again in the High Court in London, personally this time. Keeping good relations with exes can sometimes be very useful.
